Worthwhile excursions include Schilthorn’s ‘Bond World’ at the Piz Gloria rotating restaurant which lies at 2970 metres above sea level, offering views across hundreds of snow-covered peaks. Enjoy winter cruising on Lake Thun, a short train journey away. Thun Castle offers a glimpse of the Region’s past with tower views to amaze on clear days. Chilling out above Wengen in Männlichen, Kleine Scheidegg, and Eigergletscher Mountain Restaurants is a must on good weather days.
